We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management Lead to oversee and support safe, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective facilities operations across one or multiple sites in Qatar.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in facilities operations, MEP systems, maintenance management, vendor coordination, compliance, and service delivery, with the ability to manage day‑to‑day operational requirements while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage work orders from prioritization and assignment through follow-up, stakeholder communication, and timely closure.
- Coordinate daily facilities maintenance activities covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety, pumps, generators, UPS, and other building systems, as applicable.
- Plan, monitor, and ensure completion of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, asset registers, checklists, and equipment history.
- Manage vendors and subcontractors, including scope clarification, site access, permits, work supervision, quality verification, and punch-list closure.
- Coordinate procurement requirements, including service and material requests, quotations, technical clarifications, and purchase order workflows.
- Support contract administration, including service deliverables, renewals, variations, and planned maintenance obligations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify technical risks and recurring issues, assign corrective actions, and monitor closeout.
- Maintain QA/QC and technical documentation, including inspection records, test results, as-built drawings, asset registers, and O&M manuals.
- Support QHSE/IMS requirements, including toolbox talks, permit-to-work compliance, risk controls, incident and near-miss reporting, and safety documentation.
- Support mobilization, demobilization, moves/adds/changes, site readiness, service activation, inventory verification, and operational closeout activities.
- Monitor invoices, service completion certificates, expenditure, and budget variances.
- Prepare and maintain KPI dashboards, work-order metrics, preventive maintenance compliance reports, vendor performance reports, issue logs, and action trackers.
- Ensure facilities operations are delivered in accordance with applicable standards, contractual requirements, organizational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in facilities operations, maintenance, MEP, property management, or a related field.
- NEBOSH and IOSH certifications are required.
- IFMA FMP/CFM, BOMI, or other relevant facilities management certifications will be an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety, and building maintenance systems.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS and work-order management systems.
- Proven experience in vendor and subcontractor management, procurement coordination, invoice verification, budget monitoring, and KPI reporting.
- Experience supporting multi-site facilities management operations.
- Exposure to MEP projects, fit-outs, EPC, refurbishment, building handovers, or similar projects.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC documentation, asset registers, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, inspection records, and audit-ready documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to operational and technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
