Job summary

Trades App in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced Facility Management Manager – Architecture to oversee architectural, civil, and building fabric maintenance activities, ensuring facilities meet operational, safety, quality, and contractual standards.

The role requires leadership of FM teams, coordination of contractors, and strict adherence to local codes and standards, with fluent Arabic and English. A strong track record in architectural and civil works is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience are needed.
• UPDA/MMUP Grade A or B – mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of architectural and civil works.
• Knowledge of Qatar standards and building codes.
• Fluent in Arabic and English – mandatory.
• GCC FM experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage architectural, building fabric, and associated civil maintenance activities.
• Lead FM teams and coordinate contractors and specialist service providers.
• Monitor planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Conduct inspections and identify defects, risks, and improvement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar codes, specifications, HSE, environmental, and quality standards.
• Monitor SLA/KPI performance and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years' relevant experience.
• UPDA/MMUP Grade A or B – mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of architectural and civil works.
• Knowledge of applicable Qatar standards and building codes.
• Fluent in Arabic and English – mandatory.
• School/kindergarten FM experience within the GCC is highly preferred.
• CFM, FMP or SFP certification is preferred.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
