Job summary

CBRE Excellerate seeks a Facilities Supervisor to act as the on-site leader for client facilities in Qatar. You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, coordinate vendors, and ensure HSE compliance in a safe, uninterrupted business environment.

The role requires 3+ years in FM/engineering, relevant engineering or FM degrees, and strong communication skills. You will manage CAFM data, maintain asset registers, and support cost control and permits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Facilities Management or engineering.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Facilities Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; working knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, Fire & Life Safety, UPS/Generators, and CAFM/CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the client's PPM schedule and close tasks in the CAFM/CMMS system.
• Ensure MEP, HVAC, Fire & Life Safety, and UPS/Generator maintenance is compliant and documented.
• Review service reports, track defects, and maintain an up-to-date site asset register.
• Supervise on-site works, perform quality checks, and sign off on service dockets.
• Create Purchase Requisitions (PRs/POs), coordinate vendors, and support vendor performance reviews.
• Maintain permits, risk assessments, incident reports, drills, and corrective actions.

About the Role

The Facility Supervisor will serve as the primary on-site resource at the client site/office in Qatar, managing all facilities operations to ensure a safe, compliant and uninterrupted business environment. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance, vendor coordination, HSE compliance, financial administration and CAFM data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the client's PPM (planned preventive maintenance) schedule; dispatch and close tasks within the CAFM/CMMS system (REALM) to ensure 100% visibility.
• Ensure all maintenance covering MEP, HVAC, Fire and Life Safety, and UPS/Generators is statutory and OEM-compliant.
• Review service reports, track defect/snag closures and maintain an accurate, up-to-date site asset register.
• Conduct on-site supervision of works, perform quality checks, sign off on service dockets and ensure the site is returned to operational standards.
• Facilitate the creation of Purchase Requisitions (PRs/POs), conduct vendor inductions and contribute to local vendor performance reviews.
• Maintain all necessary permits, risk assessments and incident reports; support site drills, toolbox talks and implementation of corrective actions.
