BSL in Qatar seeks a Flying Clothing Bay Technician to perform detailed maintenance and diagnostic work on Aircrafts Flying Clothing components, ensuring airworthiness and adherence to SOW and AMC procedures. You will manage faults, log book currency, and collaborate with the team to drive continuous improvement in a highly regulated environment.

You will maintain personal and team authorities, contribute to incident resolution, and uphold SHE policies while coordinating with Supervisors on

Qualificações

• Broad and in-depth product/area knowledge; understands interface with other teams to achieve objectives.
• Compliance with risk assessments, SHE policies and procedures.
• 3+ years' experience with appropriate authorities in place.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out detailed maintenance and inspection on Aircrafts Flying Clothing components; ensure work aligns with SOW/Work package and approved technical information.
• Perform maintenance and diagnostic activities on Pilots Flying Clothing components including removals, inspections, repairs, substitutions and/or tests as appropriate.
• Demonstrate flexible and proactive approach; take direction as needed.
• Maintain personal and team task authorisation for work on aircraft/components per AMC requirements.
• Provide progress reports against delivery targets to supervisor.
• Support tasks in Flying Clothing Bay to maintain MOE and AMC compliance (oversight checks, tooling/test equipment).
• Evaluate faults and raise ad hoc work cards for found faults during maintenance.
• Maintain personal Log Book to demonstrate currency and recency; sign others' Log Books within trade boundaries.

The Flying Clothing Bay Technician will be an experienced and skilled technician undertaking a range of detailed maintenance activities in the Aircrafts Flying Clothing Bay, demonstrating the ability to derive diagnostic techniques. They will be responsible for maintaining airworthiness through appropriate task delegation and authorisation on the Aircrafts Flying Clothing activities, and be able to demonstrate awareness of broader external dependencies and identifies areas for continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Undertaking detailed maintenance, inspection activities on the Aircrafts Flying Clothing components. Assuring work carried out has been completed in accordance with the SOW/Work package using the relevant approved technical information. Resolving faults and maintenance issues, including an awareness of configuration management.
• Undertaking and complete tasked maintenance & diagnostic activities on the Pilots Flying Clothing components which may include, as appropriate, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system test.
• Demonstrate a flexible and proactive attitude to carrying out responsibilities appropriate to the role and takes direction appropriately.
• Maintaining personal & teams task authorisation for working on an aircraft or components in accordance with AMC requirements.
• Progress reporting against delivery targets to supervisor.
• Undertaking support tasks within the Flying Clothing Bay facility which are required to maintain compliance with the MOE and AMC procedures (e.g. oversight checks, control of tooling/test equipment etc.)
• Undertaking fault evaluation and raise ad hoc work cards and for 'found faults' during maintenance.
• Maintaining personal Log Book to demonstrate currency and recency, over sign other people's Log Books as appropriate within your trade and skills boundaries

Requirements

• Requires broad and in-depth product knowledge/competency within own technical/subject area. Awareness of how the team integrates with others in order to achieve the overall objectives of the area and demonstrates an understanding of the requirement for continuous improvement and its application.
• Ensure personal compliance with the risk assessments, SHE policies and procedures.
• Typically, 3+ years' experience including type, classed as fully competent with all required 'Authorities' in place.
• Demonstrating breadth of systems experience, currency & recency via a Log Book (electronic or paper) capturing skills, knowledge and authorities for working on Aircraft or in workshops.
• A comprehensive knowledge of the acceptable means of compliance documentation set.
