Job summary

Swan Global in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a Fire and Safety Technician to inspect, test, and maintain firefighting systems and PPE, including SCBA and BA airline components, while ensuring gas-detection equipment is accurate and logs are up to date.

The role supports hot work, confined space, and work-at-height controls and assists in conducting emergency drills to ensure proper staging of safety equipment and readiness.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH certification required.
• Diploma in fire/safety equipment maintenance.
• Valid driver's license.
• 3-5 years of experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain firefighting systems and PPE such as SCBA, BA airline systems, and fire extinguishers.
• Conduct regular checks for gas detection and monitoring equipment and maintain accurate logs.
