AMALQA AL KHALEEJ TRADING & CONTRACTING W.L.L invites a Firefighting Technician to inspect, test, and maintain firefighting and fire protection systems at oil and gas facilities in Doha. The role requires hands-on experience with pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, deluge systems, and detectors, plus reading engineering drawings and complying with NFPA standards.

You will work on-site, follow PTW/LOTO, coordinate with maintenance teams, and provide reliable emergency-ready systems.

Formación

• Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical, Fire & Safety or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in firefighting systems maintenance within Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Industrial sectors.
• Experience with fire protection systems, pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, deluge systems, and firefighting equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair firefighting systems and equipment.
• Perform maintenance on hydrants, reels, extinguishers, pumps, sprinklers, and deluge systems.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of fire alarm/detection systems (smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points).
• Inspect pipelines, valves, fittings, nozzles, and accessories for leaks or issues.
• Carry out functional testing of pumps and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and perform corrective maintenance.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and installation diagrams.
• Maintain routine preventive maintenance and service records.
• Ensure systems are operational and ready for emergency response.
• Follow PTW/LOTO and site safety procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to complete tasks.

Qualifications and Experience* ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical, Fire & Safety, or a related discipline.* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in firefighting systems maintenance within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial sector.* Practical experience with fire protection systems, fire pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, deluge systems, and firefighting equipment.* Knowledge of firefighting system testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.* Ability to read technical drawings, equipment manuals, and system layouts.* Familiarity with PTW systems, risk assessments, and industrial HSE requirements.* Oil & Gas site experience is preferred.Preferred Experience: Candidates with hands-on experience in Oil & Gas plants, refineries, petrochemical facilities, LNG plants, and other industrial projects.Employment BenefitsHousing AllowanceTransportation Allowance
