Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience waiting tables in an upscale, fine-dining, or Michelin-starred environment.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of fine wines, spirits, premium ingredients, and classic culinary terminology.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional poise, refined communication, emotional intelligence to read guest cues, and calm under pressure.
• Grooming & Presentation: Immaculate personal presentation and adherence to strict uniform standards.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk gracefully for long shifts while carrying heavy trays and large wine buckets.

Responsibilities

• Menu and Beverage Expertise: Maintaining exhaustive knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and pairings.
• Synchronized & Formal Service: Executing precise service from the left, clearing from the right, and synchronized table drops.
• Guest Experience Management: Reading the table to tailor service to the guests’ vibe and anticipate needs.
• Upselling & Guidance: Guiding guests through the menu and premium pairings to enhance the check size.
• Liaison Between Front & Back of House: Communicating with the kitchen on dietary restrictions and order modifications.
• Polishing & Setup: Ensuring silverware, glassware, and porcelain are spotless and aligned.
