Job summary

Qatar Foundation International is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to carry out daily maintenance, inspect work orders, and support departments and contractors to meet service requirements. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 2-5 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of PTW, safety practices, and document management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of relevant full-time work experience.
• Understanding of maintenance, facility, and contractor activities.
• Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of HSE practices, risk assessment, and safe work procedures.
• Experience in coordinating permits, approvals, and site activities.
• Experience in documentation, record keeping, reporting, and administrative coordination.
• Good communication and coordination skills with multiple departments and contractors.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
• Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, construction, or HSE-related environments.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and follow up on daily facilities maintenance and service requests.
• Inspect the status and completion of work orders and ensure timely action.
• Assist departments, contractors, and Facilities teams to resolve service requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, schedules, and facilities-related documentation.
• Assist in planned and preventive maintenance activities.
• Assist with contractor activities, quotations, and service requirements.
• Assist in identifying and reporting facility issues and service gaps.
• Inspect facilities activities comply with approved procedures, safety requirements, and operational standards.
• Report outstanding requests and ongoing activities to management; assist administrative and coordination activities within the Facilities Department.
• Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.
