Job summary

Tanqeeb in Qatar (Head Office) seeks an Expeditor to monitor and push purchase orders, track shipments, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams for offshore/onshore operations. The role requires experience in expediting and logistics within energy or heavy industry contexts.

The candidate will manage expediting records in the ERP system, support freight forwarding activities, and ensure compliance with HSE and contractual obligations while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of expediting, logistics, inventory management, or procurement experience.
• Knowledge of international logistics, trade controls, and import/export docs is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor POs, shipments, and delivery commitments for materials, equipment, and services.
• Communicate with vendors and stakeholders to expedite items and resolve delays.
• Review lead times and logistics plans, identify risks, and initiate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Project teams to prioritize urgent materials for offshore/onshore ops.
• Maintain expediting records in the ERP system.
