Job summary

Confidential in Doha is seeking a Group PMO Manager to lead a unified PMO across five clusters, delivering portfolio visibility, governance, and executive reporting. This is a strategic, non-operational role reporting to the CEO and focused on data integrity and standardized templates.

You will design dashboards, manage risk, budget variance, and ensure board-ready materials while coordinating with cluster heads and finance teams to sustain governance standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, engineering, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of PMO experience in multi-cluster, multi-geography, or multi-billion-dollar portfolio environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in portfolio management, project governance, and executive reporting in a publicly listed company.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, scenario modeling) and PowerPoint.
• Proven ability to design and implement PMO standards and templates that scale across diverse business units.
• Strong financial acumen: budgets, forecasts, actuals, variance analysis, project cost management.
• Meticulous attention to detail. Obsessive about data accuracy and governance compliance.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Fluency in English. Arabic language skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate a unified PMO tracker consolidating all active projects, programs, M&A initiatives, across all clusters.
• Establish and enforce standardized project taxonomy, status definitions, and reporting formats across all business units.
• Create and maintain PMO templates for domain-specific areas feeding into the portfolio view.
• Ensure all tracked projects meet governance and data-integrity standards for board reporting and disclosure.
• Track and report monthly on budget, schedule, and cost variances; escalate variances.
• Maintain a consolidated risk register and monthly variance analysis with root-cause narrative.
• Produce monthly executive dashboards and quarterly board-pack materials.
• Coordinate with cluster heads, finance teams; conduct monthly PMO forum; train teams on PMO processes.
• Maintain audit trail and support external audits with complete documentation.
