Job summary

Amazon’s Worldwide Operations HR team is seeking an Employee Relations Investigator to support our MENA locations, focusing on fair treatment and compliant investigations.

Based in the UAE, KSA, or Egypt, you will conduct interviews, analyze data, and collaborate with Legal and ER teams to resolve cases efficiently while maintaining high confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree completed.
• 2+ years HR generalist or investigations experience.
• Experience conducting complainant/witness/respondent interviews and data analysis.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Investigate sensitive HR and Employee Relations issues with interviews and data analysis.
• Manage assigned investigations to closure rapidly and definitively.
• Collect and analyze employee and stakeholder feedback at multiple levels.
• Analyze case trends and recommend strategic actions to address systemic issues.
• Collaborate with business partners, Legal, ER teams, and vendors on investigations.

We are looking for a dynamic organized self-starter to join our Worldwide Operations Human Resources team as an Employee Relations Investigator supporting our MENA locations.

The central objective of the Worldwide Operations Centralized Investigation team is to ensure fair and respectful treatment of employees consistent with our core business values and objectives.

This role is open to individuals based in UAE, KSA and Egypt.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Investigate highly sensitive HR and Employee Relations issues including: Conducting complainant, witness and subject employee interviews; Analyzing data from various internal systems; Case adjudication; Proposing remedial action based on investigation findings; Production of completed investigation documentation
• Independently manage assigned casework bringing investigations to closure rapidly and definitively
• Design, collect and analyze multiple levels of employee and stakeholder feedback
• Analyze casework trends and produce strategic recommendations to the business to proactively address systemic issues
• Consult and collaborate with business partners, Corporate ER teams, Legal teams and 3rd Party Vendors on complex employee investigations
• The individual also will work reactively on critical employee relations issues that are crisis-oriented and typically can only be successfully completed with limited time. Balancing time between projects and crisis-response is a critical component for success in the position.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• A completed Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years human resource generalist experience or investigations specialist experience
• Experience in conducting investigative fieldwork including complainant, witness and respondent interviews; investigative data analysis and production of investigative documentation
• Experience supporting front line employee client groups
• Experience managing stakeholders
• Experience in call center, distribution center or manufacturing environments
• Fluent in Arabic and English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced degree JD or other specialized training in labor/employee relations
• Evidence of career development and/or evidence of superior performance in previous roles
• Understanding of employment laws
