Job summary

Chedi Hospitality is seeking a capable purchases/procurement specialist to support the Engineering Department and other hotel teams in Doha. You will source, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers for technical materials, equipment, and services.

Responsibilities include obtaining quotations, negotiating terms, and processing requisitions and orders with attention to quality and cost control. English fluency and ERP proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with technical understanding.
• Strong negotiation and supplier-management experience.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in hotel, resort, FM, or technical environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing requirements for the Engineering Department and support other hotel departments as required.
• Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers for technical materials, equipment, spare parts, and services.
• Obtain and compare quotations based on technical specifications, quality, pricing, and commercial requirements.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranty conditions, and other commercial terms.
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders accurately and timely.
