Job summary

Tanqeeb in Qatar seeks a Marine Personnel Recruitment Specialist (Engine) to lead identification, interviewing and hiring of Engine Officers and Ratings to man the fleet. You will interview candidates using the technical skills gained from years as an Engine Officer and help build a resourcing program aligned with company goals.

You will collaborate with Marine Personnel Operations, maintain compliance with regulations, and drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes while prioritising

Qualifications

• 36 months sailing experience as Engineer on gas or large oil tankers.
• STCW A-III/2 Certificate of Competency (2nd Engineer license).

Responsibilities

• Manage identification, interviewing, and hiring of Engine Officers and Ratings to man the fleet.
• Benchmark market salaries and source outside recruitment partners when needed.
• Coordinate with Marine Personnel Operations for handover of Engine officers to vessels.
• Ensure compliance with legal, tax, regulatory and company requirements.
• Oversee Nakilat Engine Cadet Program recruitment coordination.
