Job summary

Swan Global is seeking an Emergency Response Team Lead to direct the ERT at Ras Laffan, Qatar, coordinating rescues and ensuring readiness of crews and equipment for TAR operations.

You will develop and maintain Emergency Response Plans, conduct drills and competency checks, and liaise with ORYX HSE, PTW Authority, and operations for high-risk tasks.

Qualifications

• Competency per NFPA 1006 & 1670 documented per OSHA 1910.146.
• Standard First Aid/CPR with AED.
• IRATA Level 2 or 3 (Team Leader based on assessment).

About the job Emergency Response Team Lead

Purpose: Lead the ERT, coordinate rescues and develop shiftwise emergency readiness during TAR.

Reports to: ORYX HSE / Contractor PM | Work Schedule: Schedule3 (12 h/day, 6 d/wk; day or night) | Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar

Key Responsibilities:

Lead rescue planning and execution; ensure readiness of equipment and crews.

Develop/maintain Emergency Response Plans; conduct drills and competency checks.

Liaise with ORYX HSE, PTW Authority and operations for highrisk tasks.

Minimum Qualifications/Certifications:

Competency per NFPA 1006 & 1670 (Confined Space Rescue) documented per OSHA 1910.146.

Standard First Aid/CPR with AED.

IRATA Level 2 or 3 (Team Leader based on assessment).

5+ years industryspecific Oil & Gas experience as Emergency Response Technician; prior team leadership in TAR context.

JobSpecific Skills (must/strongly preferred):

Rescue command/control, rope access supervision, incident command basics, strong reporting/coordination skills.
