Job summary

Swan Global in Ras Laffan, Qatar is seeking Emergency Response Team Members to provide standby rescue coverage and rapid response for confined spaces and high-angle operations during TAR. The role requires hands-on field experience in oil and gas environments and strict adherence to safety protocols.

The position focuses on setting up rescue systems, maintaining ERT equipment, and coordinating with PTW and Area Authority to ensure safe TAR operations. Schedule is demanding with shift rotations.

Qualifications

• NFPA 1006 & 1670 Confined Space Rescue competency documented per OSHA 1910.146.
• Standard First Aid/CPR with AED.
• 5+ years Oil & Gas experience as Emergency Response Technician.

About the job Emergency Response Team Members

Purpose: Provide rescue and emergency response for confined spaces and highangle operations during TAR.

Reports to: ERT Lead / ORYX HSE | Work Schedule: Schedule3 (12 h/day, 6 d/wk; day or night) | Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar

Key Responsibilities:

Standby rescue coverage for confined space and WAH tasks; support emergency drills and response.

Set up and operate rescue systems; maintain ERT equipment (ropes, tripods, breathing air).

Coordinate with PTW/Area Authority during TAR jobs.

Minimum Qualifications/Certifications:

Competency per NFPA 1006 & 1670 (Confined Space Rescue) documented per OSHA 1910.146.

Standard First Aid/CPR with AED.

5+ years industryspecific Oil & Gas experience as Emergency Response Technician.

JobSpecific Skills (must/strongly preferred):

Confined space & rope rescue systems; BA operations; communication under emergency conditions.
