Job summary

Scale AI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AI Ops to own the long-term health, performance and stability of AI deployments for public sector partners in Qatar. You will manage SLAs, model drift, and maintenance protocols, bridging software engineering, MLOps and governance.

You’ll collaborate with Delivery and Maintenance teams to ensure reliability and security of critical AI services. You will lead governance of prompts, deployments, and data pipelines, while communicating complex tech

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software Engineering, MLOps, SRE, or related roles.
• Strong Python, SQL, and API skills.
• Experience with AI governance and model performance monitoring.
• CI/CD experience for ML pipelines.
• Ability to communicate with government and enterprise stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical gatekeeper during transition from Delivery to Maintenance.
• Own SLA management and incident governance across multi-tier models.
• Monitor production model performance, latency, and data drift.
• Assess client requests and benchmark new AI models.
• Develop self-healing data pipelines, RAG indexing, and telemetry tooling.
• Interface with government/enterprise IT to explain technical impacts.
