Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a hands-on Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, testing, and repair of industrial electrical equipment on site in Qatar. You will troubleshoot HV/MV/LV transformers, switchgear, cables, MCCs, motors, PLCs, VFDs and UPS systems.

The role requires a technical diploma and at least 5 years of direct oil & gas experience, with strong safety awareness, PTW/LOTO compliance, and a good command of English for field communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industries.
• Strong industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Working-level English reading, writing, and comprehension.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety, PTW, and LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot HV/MV/LV transformers and switchgear.
• Work on HV/MV/LV cables and terminations.
• Maintain MV/LV MCCs and motors.
• Troubleshoot PLC, VFD and UPS systems.
• Maintain lighting, cathodic protection systems, hoists, and electrical systems of flares.
• Work with motor and feeder protection relays.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment, control systems, and power circuits.
• Read SLDs, machine sketches, and complex control schematics.
• Use multimeters, Meggers, and related testing/calibration instruments.
• Follow PTW, LOTO, HSEQ, and plant safety procedures

Responsible for hands-on electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, testing, and repair activities on industrial electrical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot HV/MV/LV transformers and switchgear
  
• Work on HV/MV/LV cables and terminations.
  
• Maintain MV/LV MCCs and motors.
