Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering seeks an Electrical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in oil & gas projects. You will handle cable laying, termination, testing, and commissioning while inspecting motors, MCCs, and panels.

Reading drawings and following HSE procedures are essential. A Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering and a valid QID are required for site readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, cable glanding, termination, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of LV electrical systems, motors, MCCs, control panels, and industrial equipment.
• Good understanding of electrical safety procedures and Oil & Gas HSE requirements.
• Valid QID certificate is required.
• Oil & Gas site approvals will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform cable laying, glanding, termination, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Inspect and maintain motors, MCCs, distribution boards, transformers, lighting systems, and electrical panels.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams.
• Use electrical testing instruments such as multi meters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.
• Follow PTW, LOTO, JSA, toolbox talks, and applicable HSE procedures.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance and inspection activities.

• Good experience in electrical installation, maintenance, cable glanding, termination, and troubleshooting.
  
• Knowledge of LV electrical systems, motors, MCCs, control panels, and industrial electrical equipment.
  
• Good understanding of electrical safety procedures and Oil & Gas HSE requirements.
  
• Valid QID is required.
  
• Relevant Oil & Gas certifications / site approvals will be an advantage.
