Job summary

BS GROUP INTERNATIONAL is seeking a skilled Electrical & Electronic Technician for Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems across onshore/offshore oil & gas projects, in safety-critical environments.

Ideal candidates have 1–4 years hands-on experience and hold a relevant diploma. Offshore readiness and willingness to travel to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Indonesia are required.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years hands-on experience as an Electrical / Electronic Technician in industrial or similar environments.
• Oil & gas industry experience is highly preferred.
• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or related technical field.
• Basic electrical or instrumentation certifications; H2S, confined space, offshore safety or equivalent certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, wiring, termination, and commissioning of electrical, electronic, and instrumentation systems.
• Support PLC panels, control panels, sensors, transmitters, and field instruments under supervision.
• Perform routine inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic equipment.
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety.
• Provide on-site technical support during installation, commissioning, and shutdown activities.
• Maintain technical records, inspection checklists, and maintenance logs.

Are you a skilled Electrical & Electronic Technician looking to advance your career in a dynamic, international work environment?

BS GROUP INTERNATIONAL is currently seeking a competent and safety-focused Electrical & Electronic Technician to join our technical team in Doha, Qatar.

This position is open exclusively to Indonesian nationals. Only candidates holding Indonesian nationality will be considered for this role.

In this role, you will support the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, and automation systems across onshore and offshore oil & gas projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience, a solid technical foundation, and the ability to work efficiently in safety-critical environments. Flexibility for offshore work and regional project assignments is essential.

Additionally, the selected candidate must be willing to support operations across Qatar (Doha) and other company branches, including Abu Dhabi (UAE), Dubai (UAE), and Indonesia, based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic equipment
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and operational safety
• Provide on‑site technical support during installation, commissioning, and shutdown activities
• Maintain technical records, inspection checklists, and maintenance logs
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards, company procedures, and Qatari safety regulations
• Adhere strictly to HSE policies, PPE requirements, and permit‑to‑work procedures
• Operate confidently in industrial, onshore, and offshore environments

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Experience
• 1–4 years of hands‑on experience as an Electrical / Electronic Technician in industrial or similar environments.
• Oil & gas industry experience is highly preferred.
• Academic Qualification
• Diplomaor Technical Certificate in:
  -> ElectricalEngineering
  -> ElectronicEngineering
  -> Instrumentation
  -> Mechatronics
  -> Or arelated technical field
  
• Certifications (Preferred)
• Basic electrical or instrumentation certifications
• H2S, confined space, offshore safety, or equivalent certifications are anadvantage

Technical Skills
