Job summary

BS GROUP INTERNATIONAL is seeking a skilled Electrical & Electronic Technician for Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems across onshore/offshore oil & gas projects, in safety-critical environments.

Ideal candidates have 1–4 years hands-on experience and hold a relevant diploma. Offshore readiness and willingness to travel to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Indonesia are required.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years hands-on experience as an Electrical / Electronic Technician in industrial or similar environments.
• Oil & gas industry experience is highly preferred.
• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or related technical field.
• Basic electrical or instrumentation certifications; H2S, confined space, offshore safety or equivalent certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, wiring, termination, and commissioning of electrical, electronic, and instrumentation systems.
• Support PLC panels, control panels, sensors, transmitters, and field instruments under supervision.
• Perform routine inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic equipment.
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety.
• Provide on-site technical support during installation, commissioning, and shutdown activities.
• Maintain technical records, inspection checklists, and maintenance logs.
