Qualifications

  • Technical Diploma in respective trade (12+3 years).
  • 5+ years relevant hands-on experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industries.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and modification work on electrical equipment.
  • Familiarity with Electrical Control and Protection Systems like PLCs and relays.
  • Troubleshoot complex and major electrical problems or breakdowns.
  • Read and interpret SLDs, control schematics and diagnose flow charts for maintenance.
  • Use related tools and instruments for maintenance activities.
  • Use testing and calibration instruments including Multimeter and Megger.
  • Ensure safe installation/maintenance around hazardous chemicals and in Oil & Gas environments.
  • Adhere to safety and environmental guidelines and Work Permits systems.
  • Know Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) requirements.
