Job summary

University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) invites applications for a Lecturer in English as a Foreign Language within the Foundation Program Unit. The role covers development, delivery and evaluation of English and Communication Skills for preparatory courses.

Ideal candidates hold a Master in TEFL or related field, with 3+ years teaching experience in higher education or industry training, and strong English proficiency with a commitment to applied, experiential learning at UDST.

Qualifications

• Master in TEFL or related program from an internationally recognized university.
• Relevant undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
• CELTA, DELTA or TESOL preferred; strong English language mastery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and evaluate English and Communication Skills courses in the Foundation Program Unit.
• Evaluate student progress and manage learning resources and environment.
• Liaise with industry and other educational institutions; participate in advisory committees and coordinate projects.
• Maintain accreditation documentation and engage in instructional development/improvement plans.
• Contribute to professional and community life within the university.
