Job summary

UDST invites applications for Lecturer Humanities. The candidate will plan, develop and deliver interdisciplinary courses focusing on social analysis, Qatar history, Islamic culture, human development, public policy or related fields with a Qatar/GCC emphasis.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of higher education teaching experience. Fluency in English and Arabic is required; strong digital literacy and use of educational technology are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in sociology or related field from a recognized institution.
• Proven teaching ability and experience in higher education.
• Demonstrated use of educational technology and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Qatar/GCC.
• Evaluate student progress and manage learning resources.
• Participate in industry advisory committees and coordinate program projects.
• Maintain course portfolio documents for program review and accreditation.
• Engage in instructional development and new program development.
