Job summary

Qatar National Bank is seeking a Senior Compliance professional to help conduct and manage the compliance function for domestic supervisory activities across all business divisions and subsidiaries in the State of Qatar.

You will identify and assess regulatory risks, promote efficiency, and support the Group’s compliance objectives through strategy, monitoring, and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with CIA/CCO/CISI qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years in a major banking institution or in a consultancy firm.
• Strong analytical and synthesis abilities.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess regulatory compliance risk for domestic activities of all divisions and local subsidiaries.
• Support in setting up the compliance strategy for domestic activities.
• Provide timely feedback to VP/EVP and Group Chief Compliance on ad hoc matters.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations impacting domestic activities.
• Assist in training and development to promote bank-wide compliance culture.
• Prepare management reports for Group Chief Compliance and Board committees.
