Job summary

QDS is seeking a Network Security Engineer in Doha, Qatar for a 6-month outsourced contract. You will own Fortinet‑based security architecture, firewall policy administration, network access control, and incident resolution.

Expected focus on FortiGate, FortiNAC, FortiSwitch, and FortiAP within an enterprise environment. You will work closely with client IT teams, ensuring high availability, threat protection, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 4+ years of progressive professional experience in network security engineering, firewall administration, and IT support.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Fortinet solutions and security hardware.
• Proficiency with FortiNAC, FortiGate, FortiSwitch, and FortiAP.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, optimize, and maintain Fortinet security solutions across enterprise networks.
• Administer FortiGate firewalls, security policies, VPNs, and threat protection.
• Manage FortiNAC network access control, endpoint visibility, and policy enforcement.
• Oversee FortiSwitch and FortiAP network fabrics and wireless management.
• Investigate and resolve complex network security incidents and routing issues.
