Job summary

Starlink Qatar in Doha is seeking a Senior Network and Security Engineer to design and implement enterprise network and security solutions across multi-vendor environments, ensuring robust performance and secure connectivity.

You will lead customer discussions, deliver high-level and low-level designs, and guide deployments and migrations, coordinating with customers, vendors, and project stakeholders in line with Qatar cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications

• 12-16 years of professional experience in networking and security.
• Proven experience working within a System Integrator (SI) environment.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking and multiple security vendors.
• Experience in network and security architecture, HLD/LLD development, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and security technologies.
• Experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet security solutions is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer-facing, technical communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience delivering projects in banking, transportation, public sector, or education is preferred.
• CISSP or GIAC certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network and security solutions across multi-vendor environments.
• Work with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, and Check Point technologies.
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), network architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Manage and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless networks, WAN, VPNs, and IP telephony.
• Implement network segmentation, high availability, redundancy, and secure connectivity solutions.
• Perform advanced network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and packet analysis using Wireshark.
• Lead customer discussions, technical presentations, workshops, solution deployments, and infrastructure migrations.
• Manage technical escalations, system integration, project documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and coordinate with customers, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions align with industry best practices, customer requirements, and applicable Qatar cybersecurity standards.
