Job summary

ParamInfo is urgently seeking an experienced L3 Network Engineer to support our Qatar onsite network infrastructure. The candidate should have strong hands-on Cisco and Fortinet expertise, with proven troubleshooting and incident management skills to keep store networks running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cisco networking.
• 5+ years of hands-on Fortinet technologies experience.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, subnetting, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with FortiGate firewall configuration, policy management, VPNs, and security troubleshooting.
• Experience providing L3 support in an enterprise network.
• Strong incident, problem-solving, and change management skills.
• Ability to coordinate with central infrastructure and store teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in Qatar.
• Technical focus: Cisco Networking and Fortinet Technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for enterprise network infrastructure, including incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, and related infrastructure.
• Administer and support Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate firewalls, security policies, VPNs, and network security configurations.
• Coordinate closely with Central Infrastructure teams to manage, open, modify, and resolve store-related network requests and activities.
• Support store network installations, modifications, connectivity changes, and operational requirements.
• Perform advanced network troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of escalated incidents.
• Implement network configuration changes in accordance with approved change management procedures.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security to maintain service continuity.
• Prepare technical documentation, incident reports, and change records as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of network-related activities.

• Practical experience with FortiGate firewall configuration, policy management, VPNs, and security troubleshooting.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
