Job summary

Daikin Middle East & Africa is seeking an HVAC Technician (Applied & DX) based in Doha, Qatar. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Applied and DX/VRV systems to ensure reliable operation and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise and strict adherence to safety and service quality, working on-site at customer locations. You will diagnose faults, support commissioning and maintenance activities, and coordinate with supervisors and spare parts

Qualifications

Technical Diploma (ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years hands-on HVAC service experience (installation, maintenance, troubleshooting).
Experience in DX & VRV/VRF systems and/or Applied equipment (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs).
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and refrigeration systems.
Basic knowledge of HVAC controls and schematics reading.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Applied and DX systems on-site.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical and control faults and take corrective actions.
Support commissioning, operation & maintenance to meet OEM standards.
Identify root causes and minimize repeat breakdowns; optimize performance.
Record service reports, checklists and job data accurately and on time.
Coordinate with supervisors, planners and spare parts teams for smooth execution.
Follow safety procedures, PPE, and permit systems; stay updated on HVAC tech.
