Job summary

Daikin Middle East & Africa is seeking an HVAC Technician (Applied & DX) based in Doha, Qatar. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Applied and DX systems to ensure reliable operation and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong diagnostic capability, and strict adherence to safety and service quality standards. You will work on-site and coordinate with supervisors and service teams to meet SLAs and targets.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma (ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on HVAC service experience.
• Experience in DX & VRV/VRF systems and/or Applied equipment (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs).
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and refrigeration systems.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC controls and schematics reading.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Familiarity with service reporting tools (manual or digital).
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Valid Qatar Driving License is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Applied and DX systems on-site.
• Diagnose faults, implement corrective actions, and optimize performance.
• Coordinate with supervisors and spare parts teams for service delivery.
• Maintain on-site customer communication and document visits.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Stay updated on HVAC technologies and participate in trainings.
