Job summary

Qatar Airways is seeking skilled Equipment Operators to join the ground services team at Hamad International Airport in Doha. As an Equipment Operator, you will operate a range of ground support equipment to move aircraft, cargo, and baggage safely and efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma, a Qatar driving license, 1–2 years of GSE experience, and the ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience operating ground support equipment (GSE) in an airport setting.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with ramp and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate ground support equipment (GSE) such as baggage tractors, tugs, forklifts, high-loaders, and conveyors.
• Handle baggage, cargo, and mail safely during loading and unloading.
• Position equipment accurately beside aircraft and facilities.
• Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Report defects to the maintenance team promptly.
• Follow safety regulations and company procedures.
• Assist ramp agents and other ground staff as needed.
• Keep equipment clean and functional.
• Complete tasks on time and participate in training updates.
