Job summary

Qatar Airways is seeking a GSE Technician or Lead GSE Technician in Doha. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Ground Support Equipment and fleet vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and cost-effective operations for end-users.

You will assist the workshop supervisor, diagnose complex issues, and develop junior staff while ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School qualification with 2+ years related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with 1+ year related experience.
• Valid Driving License (Home Country or Local).
• Able to obtain Workshop Safety Awareness Course.
• Able to obtain RSA (Ramp Safety Awareness) Course.
• Able to obtain Basic Airside Driving Course.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on GSE and fleet vehicles.
• Assist workshop supervisor and deputize in his absence.
• Diagnose faults in hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Overhaul major components as required (engine, transmission, etc.).
• Document repair actions and maintenance trends in data systems.
• Develop lower skilled staff with on the job training.
