Position Overview

Equipment Operator is a hands‑on warehouse operations role with Qatar Airways Group in Doha, Qatar, supporting high-volume retail and logistics operations. This position focuses on safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment to ensure smooth stock movement, storage, and availability across warehouse and retail locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate diesel and electric forklifts, VNA, reach trucks, and order pickers safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, move, and store pallets, stock, and display units across warehouse locations
• Drive diesel forklifts on airside service roads in compliance with safety regulations
• Ensure rapid and safe unloading of containers to support timely receiving processes
• Store pallets correctly on racking systems in line with warehouse safety standards
• Perform accurate order picking to ensure timely dispatch of goods to retail outlets
• Load and unload oversized display units carefully to prevent damage
• Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks on assigned equipment
• Ensure batteries are charged and equipment is available during peak operations
• Store and clean equipment safely as per operational schedules

Ideal Profile

• High school qualification with minimum 1 year of job‑related experience, or bachelor's degree with no prior experience
• Forklift driving experience in high‑density warehouse environments
• Valid Qatar forklift license
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy loads
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with attention to safety
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a proactive work attitude
• VNA and reach truck experience is an advantage
