Command Post in Doha, Qatar seeks a hands-on Data Governance Consultant to transform governance policies into measurable business practices. You will implement governance operating models, metadata management, data lineage, data quality, and Microsoft Purview enablement for a major client engagement in Qatar.

The role involves collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to improve data discoverability, transparency, reliability, and governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, metadata management or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview or comparable data catalog platform.
• Strong knowledge of data lineage, data quality, data cataloguing and governance.
• Client-facing collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models.
• Define accountability for Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Custodians with RACI and forums.
• Document end-to-end data lineage and data flows across systems and interfaces.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Purview capabilities, including Data Map, Data Catalog, and classifications.
• Facilitate workshops, translate requirements into governance deliverables, and report progress.
