Job summary

Employment in Doha seeks a Data Infrastructure & Operations Consultant to design, configure and support infrastructure for data-management, analytics and security. You will ensure environments, connectivity, capacity, access, monitoring, backup and recovery align with architecture and service requirements.

You will work with client infrastructure teams, document runbooks, support change controls, and transfer services to support teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in information technology, computer science or a related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and consulting or implementation experience may be considered.
• Experience in infrastructure, systems administration, cloud services and data analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assess infrastructure and service requirements for client data solutions.
• Design or support on-premises, cloud or hybrid infrastructure configurations.
• Provision and configure development, test and production environments via change controls.
• Implement connectivity, access, certificates and security requirements.
• Support installation and operation of data platforms and databases.
• Establish monitoring, capacity, availability, performance and evidence.
• Design and test backup, disaster recovery and continuity procedures.
• Maintain configuration records, diagrams, asset info and patch history.
• Support incident, problem and root-cause investigation and corrective action.
• Validate readiness, escalation routes and go-live acceptance.
• Develop runbooks, maintenance procedures and handover packs.
• Train client staff and provide transition support.
