Job summary

QatarYello is seeking a senior data governance and quality leader to drive enterprise data governance across its financial services operations.

You will oversee data assets, catalogues, metadata, and lineage while partnering with Technology, Compliance, and Information Security to ensure robust protection and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes automation and AI-enabled governance to scale data management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 10+ years' experience in a relevant role with significant financial services industry experience.
• Demonstrated success implementing and operating enterprise-wide data governance and quality frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with data governance platforms such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, Atlan, or similar solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the governance, classification, stewardship, and management of enterprise data assets.
• Develop and maintain data catalogues, metadata, lineage, and business data definitions to improve transparency and control.
• Establish and oversee data quality standards, monitoring frameworks, issue management processes, and remediation activities.
• Partner with Technology, Compliance, and Information Security teams to ensure effective data protection, access governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive the adoption of automation and AI-enabled solutions to enhance governance processes and scale data management capabilities.
