Capco is seeking a Data Governance Specialist to help clients establish governance frameworks, improve data quality, and ensure lifecycle management across organisations. You will work with business, technology, risk and regulatory stakeholders to translate governance principles into practical, sustainable solutions within financial services.

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance, data management, data quality, metadata, lineage, or related disciplines.
• Practical knowledge of governance frameworks, policies, standards, controls, and operating models.
• Experience collaborating with business, technology, risk, compliance, and data stakeholders to deliver governance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
• Establish clear data ownership, stewardship, accountability, and governance processes across business and technology teams.
• Support data quality initiatives, including defining critical data elements, quality rules, controls, monitoring, and remediation processes.
• Work with stakeholders to strengthen metadata management, data lineage, data classification, and data lifecycle practices.
• Translate governance requirements into practical solutions while supporting adoption, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable change.
