Job summary

McDermott International is seeking a Crew Scheduling Specialist to support offshore personnel logistics, recruitment coordination, and travel arrangements. You will manage visa, payroll, training, and documentation while aligning with HR policies.

The role requires coordinating with offshore teams and subcontractors to ensure accurate record-keeping and timely mobilization of crews to offshore sites. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of HR/Crewing & Logistics experience.
• Excellent personal communication skills.
• Exposure to online crew management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate offshore crew recruitment process, including interviews, reference checks, medicals, PPE, payroll, and onboarding documentation.
• COVID management planning and crew coordination to ensure compliance.
• Develop, maintain, and manage offshore personnel logistics roster.
• Book helicopter, travel, accommodation, transfer, and associated travel logistics for offshore personnel.
• Coordinate international vessel crew logistics.
• Plan and implement travel logistics of crew mobilizing to/from the site.
• Liaise with Offshore Administrators and Crewing & Logistics to ensure crew movements are recorded.
• Coordinate with Sub-contractors to arrange approval of sub-contract personnel, required Project training, rosters, travel, and logistics.
• Update Offshore HR files, Visa database, and Tax spreadsheets; maintain registers including employee lists.
• Coordinate issuance of PPE; apply for visas for international offshore personnel.
• Coordinate personnel tax briefing and tax assistance for offshore personnel.
• Interpret and apply Company HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
• Report and collate data relating to personnel movements of contractors/subcontractors.
• Interpret offshore craft certifications.
• Coordinate personnel training and familiarization logistics plans for pre-project training.
• Liaise with Training & HSES to coordinate logistics for Project training & Competency before mobilization offshore.
• Assist in coordinating attendees at project inductions.
• Support general administration tasks.
• Prepare timesheets for offshore personnel temporarily assigned to onshore locations.

With a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, they are responsible for solving a range of straightforward Crew Scheduling problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Crew Scheduling Specialist understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
