Job summary

Client of Brunel is seeking an experienced Offshore Brownfields & Hook Up Coordinator in Qatar. You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance during offshore execution while coordinating with contractors to meet prioritized objectives and protect asset integrity.

The role requires a senior background in instrumentation and control with 8+ years on large oil/gas projects, knowledge of commissioning, design standards and safety procedures, and ability to report progress to line

Qualifications

• 8 years' experience with large projects in construction related disciplines in Oil & Gas.
• Experience with oil & gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy offshore execution.
• Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes and safety criteria for major fabrication and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and quality protocols during offshore execution.
• Coordinate offshore Brownfield & Hook up execution including commissioning.
• Supervise contractor/subcontractor activities related to Brownfields, Hook up, commissioning.
• Check constructability and compliance with technical deliverables.
• Review contractor progress reports and highlight issues.
• Liaise with contractors for progress and reporting.
• Supervise PTW meetings with contractors and ensure JSA approval.
• Report concerns to line management per Qatar Energy rules.
• Improve safety culture on offshore and Marine Unit teams.
• Participate in REX and Lessons Learned.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To Adherence to all safety and quality protocols and regulations during offshore execution process
• To Coordinate and ensure successful Offshore Brownfield amp Hook up execution including commissioning to meet prioritized objectives Safety Quality protect existing Integrity asset Schedule and others as appropriate
• To Supervise and control the activities of the Contractor Subcontractors related to the Brownfields amp Hookup execution Mechanical Completion Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements project documentation and applicable International Standards
• To Check the constructability aspects as well as the compliance with all technical requirements of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Brownfields Hook up Team Contractor
• To Review Contractor s progress reports and reports for all the activities highlighting critical problems drifts and dysfunctions if any
• To Liaise with Contractors Subcontractors for all subjects Mechanical completion Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure the Contractors Subcontractors progress follow up and reporting
• To Supervise PTW meeting with contractors coordinate with all LNG Host to deliver PTW to contractor strictly following Methods statements and JSA approved
• To Report all concerns regarding your discipline if not aligned with Qatar Energy Rules to your line management
• To Improve safety culture during offshore execution and on Marine Unit JUB Work Boat follow and close all safety action under his responsibility perimeter
• To participate in REX and Lessons Learned for the Company

Requirements

• High national diploma - Instrumentation and Control8 years' experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy offshore execution construction companies.
• Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution & Commissioning, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
• Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, operations as applicable to project scope.
• Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
• Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
