Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Construction Supervisor (Instrument & Control) to coordinate offshore Brownfield, Hook-up, and commissioning activities in Qatar. You will lead safety, quality and schedule delivery across EPC contractors and the internal teams, ensuring compliance with company standards throughout offshore execution.

Based on a 28/28 rotation, the role requires deep Instrument & Control expertise and strong communication to manage interfaces with OESS, operations and contractors during

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience on large oil &Gas construction projects (installation, hook-up, commissioning).
• Experience with offshore brownfields, hook-up, commissioning and SIMOPS.
• Knowledge of design standards, safety criteria, and major fabrication activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate offshore Brownfield, Hook-up and commissioning activities to meet safety, quality and schedule objectives.
• Supervise contractor/subcontractor activities to ensure contractual and technical compliance.

Construction Supervisor (INSTRUMENT & CONTROL)

Job Purpose

Coordinate offshore Brownfield, Shutdown & Hook up Instrument & Control discipline representing the COMPANY, ensuring compliance with Safety, quality, integrity and project objectives. Coordinate with OESS & Operation and Contractors to drive efficient Brownfields and Hook up execution & Commissioning and deliver operational excellence during offshore execution phase. Directly involved with the project is part of a large Compression Development Program decided by the company and its Shareholders. This major project consists of the delivery of new facilities (5 new riser platforms, 1 wellhead platforms, stalk on risers, cables and FO lines), tieins/modifications to 17 existing platforms. This role requires strong instrument & control technical experience to drive the EPC Contractor and subcontractors to efficiently offshore execution during Hook Up and Brownfileds SIMOPS including Shut Down Preparation and execution. Ensure there is permanent communication with OESS and Operation during SIMOPS brownfiels and Hook up execution. Coordinate multiple internal and external interfaces across the company and EPC Contractors-require effective communication, flexibility, and collaboration. Participate in the daily meeting (Safety, PTW coordination, Schedule,…etc) with contractor during offshore execution. Ensure that contractor strictly follow the company rules during offshore execution without compromise safety, Quality and Integrity of existing asset. Ensure that there is sufficient and balanced resources and technical expertise available to support the EPC Contractors, efficiency in resource deployment to support the Hook up & Brownfields offshore execution activities and respect of planning. Ensure there is quality, effectiveness and consistency in Brownfields & Hook up offshore execution processes, systems, procedures and work products while adhering to established offshore execution and commissioning. Position to be located in Qatar offshore in rotation 28 working days and 28 days off. Location will be between JUB and work boat following Contractor schedule.

Key Job Accountabilities

• To Adherence to all safety and quality protocols and regulations during the offshore execution process.
• To Coordinate and ensure successful of Offshore Brownfield & Hook up execution including commissioning to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, protect existing Integrity asset, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).
• To Supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the Brownfields & Hookup execution, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.
• To Check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering, Brownfields, Hook up Team Contractor.
• To Review Contractor’s progress reports and reports for all the activities, highlighting critical problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.
• To Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all subjects, Mechanical completion, Precommissioning and Commissioning to ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress follow up and reporting.
• To Supervise PTW meeting with OESS and contractor, coordinate with all LNG Host to deliver PTW to contractor strictly following Methods statements and JSA approved.
• To Report all concerns regarding your discipline if not aligned with the company Rules to your line management.
• To Improve safety culture during offshore execution and on Marine Unit (JUB, Work Boat,…) follow and close all safety action under his responsibility perimeter.
• To participate to REX and Lessons Learned for the Company.

MUST HAVE - Qualifications

• High national diploma – Instrumentation and Control.
• Knowledge and/or Experience 8+ years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Technical and Business Skills Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy offshore execution construction companies.
• Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution & Commissioning, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
• Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, operations as applicable to a project scope.
• Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
• Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.

The Construction Supervisor (Instrument & Control) will coordinate and oversee offshore Brownfield, Hook-up, Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities for the Project, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality project execution while maintaining compliance with the company requirements, project specifications, operational integrity standards and offshore execution objectives.
