Job summary

Client of Brunel is seeking an Offshore Lead professional to oversee brownfield shutdowns, hook ups, and commissioning for large oil & gas projects. You will supervise contractor activities, ensure compliance with design standards and safety requirements, and coordinate across multiple teams to deliver critical milestones offshore.

The role requires strong knowledge of offshore execution, risk management, and experience in large-scale projects within the oil & gas sector.

Qualifications

• High School (12 years) with 8 years' experience on large oil & gas construction projects.
• Experience as Site Representative Offshore Lead or oversight of contractor personnel; 1 year offshore lead exposure.
• Experience with oil & gas companies, contractors, or heavy offshore execution construction.
• Knowledge of design standards, codes, and safety criteria for major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution & commissioning.
• Familiar with sour gas and LNG facilities risks and execution methods.
• Experience in large operating organizations across Operations, Projects, Subsurface.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to safety and quality protocols during offshore execution.
• Manage offshore brownfield shutdown, hook up, commissioning to meet objectives.
• Supervise contractor/subcontractor activities related to brownfields, hook up, M/C, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
• Check constructability and compliance with technical deliverables.
• Review contractor progress reports and highlight issues.
• Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for progress follow-up.
• Coordinate PTW meetings and ensure safe methods and JSA.
• Ensure Marine units follow Marine regulations and safety tours.
• Improve safety culture offshore and on Marine Unit.
• Participate in REX and Lessons Learned for the Company.

Job description

To Adherence to all safety and quality protocols and regulations during offshore execution process

To Manage and ensure successful Offshore Brownfield Shutdown amp Hook up execution including commissioning to meet prioritized objectives Safety Quality protect existing Integrity asset Schedule and others as appropriate

To Supervise and control the activities of the Contractor Subcontractors related to the Brownfields amp Hookup execution Mechanical Completion Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements project documentation and applicable International Standards

To Check the constructability aspects as well as the compliance with all technical requirements of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Brownfields Hook up Team Contractor

To Review Contractor s progress reports and reports for all the activities highlighting critical problems drifts and dysfunctions if any

To Liaise with Contractors Subcontractors for all subjects Mechanical completion Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure the Contractors Subcontractors progress follow up and reporting

To Supervise PTW meeting contractors coordinate with all LNG Host to deliver PTW to contractor strictly following Methods statements and JSA approved

To Assure all Marine units under their perimeter strictly follow Marine rule involve on Marine unit safety tour

To Improve safety culture during offshore execution and on Marine Unit JUB Work Boat follow and close all safety action under his responsibility perimeter

To participate in REX and Lessons Learned for the Company

High School (12 years of study)8 years' experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, BF, Shut Down, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a Company Site Representative Offshore Lead role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy offshore execution construction companies.Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution & Commissioning, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope. Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, operations as applicable to project scope.Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
