Job summary

Almuftah Group in Qatar is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee and plan construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely progress and cost efficiency.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 3 years of related experience, and PMP certification is a plus; you will coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, monitor schedules, maintain quality standards, and report project status.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Civil Engineering, preferably with architectural background.
• At least 3 years of related work experience in construction/fit-out.
• PMP certificate would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and specialists; hire subcontractors and laborers and coordinate their schedules.
• Respond to delays, emergencies, and disruptions efficiently.
• Provide directions to contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to meet quality standards.
• Monitor activities in sequence and manage projects from start to finish.
• Attend project meetings and engage with current and potential clients for business development.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
• Monitor production schedules to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with factory, sites, and clients; lead and guide the team as required.
• Review daily work progress and prepare internal/external reports.
• Educate the team and provide empowerment where needed.
• Attend trainings and awareness sessions.

Responsible in handling, Controlling and planning construction project and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner and while evaluating Key Performance Indicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists; hire full-time and part-time subcontractors and laborers and coordinate their schedules.
• Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions.
• Provide directions to general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors when doing groundwork to ensure that quality standards are being met.
• Monitor planned activities that are happening in a sequential manner.
• Managing & controlling all activities from the beginning up to the completion of projects.
• Attending project meetings, inquires with the current and potential clients for business development.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
• Monitoring the production schedule to ensure on time project completion.
• Projects coordination with the factory, sites and clients.
• Provider leadership and guidance whenever it is required.
• Review the work progress on daily basis.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Educate the team whenever it seems that the empower it requires.
• Attend Trainings and Awareness.

Qualifications & Experience

Education Qualifications: Graduate in Civil Engineering, preferably in Architectural background.

Professional Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience, probably in construction/fit-out work.

Licenses /Certifications: Having a PMP certificate would be an added advantage.
