Job summary

HW3 is seeking a PI Engineer to support the AVEVA/OSIsoft PI historian during FAT/SAT, commissioning, and early operations on a major QatarEnergy project. You will provide on-site installation, configuration, and validation, and ensure interfaces from DCS/SCADA/RTU are correctly wired into the PI System.

The role requires experience with PI interfaces, data archive, and site commissioning in process industries.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of PI Server, Interfaces, and Data Archive.
• Experience integrating PI with DCS/SCADA/RTU systems in process industries.
• Solid understanding of buffering, redundancy, and performance tuning in PI.
• Prior site commissioning experience with PI or similar historians (mandatory).
• Background in automation, instrumentation, or IT/OT systems within oil & gas or related sectors.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
