Mahad Jobs in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Commis II Chef for a catering project. The role involves assisting in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and kitchen safety.

The position requires 2-3 years of GCC experience, a culinary diploma, and basic food safety knowledge. Working hours are 8 per day, 6 days a week, with Friday off. The contract is for 24 months and accommodation/transport/meals are provided.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as Commis II or similar role.
• GCC experience required.
• Culinary Diploma preferred.
• Basic Food Safety & Hygiene knowledge

Responsabilités

• Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation and cooking.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen requirements.
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion standards.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and equipment.
• Properly store and handle food items.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain organized work areas.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Commis II or similar role.
• GCC experience required.
