Job summary

Kitopi is seeking a Sushi Chef for one of its Satellite Kitchens in Qatar. You will prepare maki, nigiri, and sashimi, follow recipes, and ensure quality and consistency across orders.

The role requires energy, teamwork, and strict adherence to food safety procedures. Previous Sushi Chef experience is essential; QSR background is a plus. Kitopi offers a fast-paced, inclusive workplace in Doha.

As Kitopi’s Sushi Chef, you will be preparing variety of sushi including maki, nigiri, and sashimi, using cooked and raw fish as well as fruits, and vegetables. You will be working in one of our Satellite Kitchens and support the Brand by following their standards and recipes. You will ensure food consistency on all our relevant brands and maintain accuracy on all food orders.

• Ensure Quality, Speed and Accuracy in all food orders.
• Be: punctual, attentive to detail, friendly, willing to learn, reliable, and, above all, honest.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance whilst you still follow all food safety procedures.
• Work with your teammates to make sure your kitchen is set-up for success
• Follow Kitopi and the brands’ standards.
• You’ll be working in our fast moving; high energy environment and we’re looking for people with high energy and that can work as part of a team within diverse groups of people
• Prepare and cook our customer’s meals to the highest standard every time. Attention to detail and recipe guidelines is essential when working in our kitchens

Who Are We Looking For?

• You must be someone who leads by example, you don’t fold under pressure. In fact, you thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Poses, and be able to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of sushi types and sushi rolling techniques
• Previous experience of working as a Sushi Chef is a must
• Quick Service Restaurant background will be an advantage
• Understand the importance of maintaining high standards of product quality and cleanliness
• You must be an achiever through team work
