Job summary

Confidential Company in Doha, Qatar seeks a senior QA/QC Civil Engineer with 10+ years in Oil & Gas, to lead inspections at live process facilities. You will coordinate QA/QC during plant shutdowns, apply NDT for concrete, and interpret geotechnical reports and structural drawings.

Mandatory ability to prepare ITPs, method statements and NCRs, with ISO 9001 familiarity and strong English reporting skills. Qatar embassy-attested civil engineering degree required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas civil QA/QC
• Knowledge of NDT methods for concrete
• Experience in inspection planning and NCR processing
• Ability to interpret geotechnical reports and drawings
• Must be able to work safely at heights and in confined spaces
• Must understand PTW (Permit to Work) protocols
• Strong reporting and coordination skills
• Fluent in English, written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and method statements
• Prepare and review NCRs and non-conformity reports
• Coordinate QA/QC activities during shutdowns and Turnarounds
• Interpret geotechnical reports and structural drawings in project scope
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (ASTM, ACI, ISO)
• Maintain documentation using MS Word and PowerPoint

Job description

• Minimum 10 years experience in Oil Ga sector including civil and structural inspections at live process facilities
• Skilled in QA QC during plant shutdown and Turnaround
• Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing NDT methods for concrete
• Ability to interpret geotechnical reports and structural drawings
• Experience in preparation of Inspection Test Plans ITPs method statements and Non-Conformance Reports NCRs
• Familiarity with ASTM ACI BS ISO Standards
• Educational Qualification BE in Civil Engineering degree with certificates attested by the Qatar Embassy
• Minimum of 10 yrs post certification experience in a senior QA / QC civil role
• Mandatory certifications in concrete testing and structural steel inspection
• ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification
• Operational Requirements; Must be below 45 years of age and medically fit to work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
• Must be capable of understanding and complying with PTW (Permit to Work) system protocols.
• Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, for effective reporting and coordination.
