Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Doha is seeking a Recreation Operations Coordinator to support the Director of Recreation in all aspects of the pool and beach areas, ensuring daily upkeep, cleanliness and cabana operation.

You will supervise staff, coordinate events, and uphold The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards to deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to the property's guest satisfaction and financial performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year experience in the recreation/health club operations or related professional area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Health Education, Physical Education, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages employees; supports day-to-day operations.
• Monitors quality and meets customer expectations daily.
• Demonstrates knowledge of job-related issues, products, systems, and processes.
• Schedules events, programs, and activities; coordinates staff workload.
• Provides personal assistance and care as needed to guests and colleagues.
• Develops goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and complete work.
• Supports management of outside vendors including water sports and scuba.
• Orders and manages necessary supplies; ensures staff have equipment and uniforms.
• Manages the children's program and group activities.
• Oversees pool and beach areas, maintenance, and cabana operation.
• Delivers exceptional customer service and role models for staff.
