Job summary

Flora Group in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a Business Analyst for Software Projects. The role is on-site, full-time, and requires strong experience in software development projects, functional testing, and UAT.

You will work with customers, PMs, developers, and QA teams to translate business needs into testable requirements and documentation. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Arabic and English, with 5+ years in business analysis, solid SDLC/Agile understanding, and hands-on testing experience

Qualifications

• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in software projects.
• Strong SDLC and Agile/Scrum knowledge.
• Excellent requirements analysis, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Solid testing knowledge including UAT, test cases, and defect lifecycle.
• Ability to write effective user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar tools.
• Good understanding of web apps, APIs, databases, and SQL concepts.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops with customers and stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into BRDs, functional specs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Create process flows, workflows, wireframes, and diagrams as needed.
• Identify gaps, conflicts, dependencies, and edge cases before development.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams through the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and review test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing as required.
• Validate delivered functionality against requirements and report defects clearly.
• Support customers during UAT and address issues before sign-off.
• Assist with change requests, impact analysis, and scope clarification.

Business Analyst – Software Projects (Arabic)

We are looking for a Software Business Analyst with strong experience in software development projects and good hands-on functional testing and UAT capabilities. The candidate will work closely with customers, project managers, developers, and QA teams to translate business needs into clear and testable system requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and meetings with customers and stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes and translate requirements into clear BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Create process flows, workflows, wireframes, and functional diagrams when required.
• Identify requirement gaps, conflicts, dependencies, and edge cases before development.
• Work closely with development and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle to clarify requirements.
• Prepare and review test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on business requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing when required.
• Validate delivered functionality against approved requirements and report defects clearly.
• Support customers during UAT, manage feedback, and ensure issues are properly addressed before sign-off.
• Support change requests, impact analysis, and scope clarification.

Required Skills & Experience

• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in enterprise software projects.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum.
• Strong requirements analysis, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Good practical knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle.
• Ability to write effective user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases, and UAT scenarios.
• Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
• Good understanding of web applications, APIs/integrations, databases, and SQL concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business users and technical teams.
• Preferred: Experience with government, healthcare, ERP, workflow, or enterprise digital-transformation projects.
