MCG Asia seeks a Business Analyst to support decision-making through data-driven insights, reporting, and process improvement. You will gather, clean, and analyse data, build dashboards, and translate business questions into actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.

The role requires 4–6 years in data analytics or consulting, strong SQL and Excel skills, and familiarity with Python or R.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, CS, or related field.
• About 4–6 years in data analytics, BI, or consulting.
• Experience in professional services or corporate environments preferred.
• Strong SQL and Excel; Python or R is a plus.

We are partnered with a professional services agency who are looking for a Business Analyst to support business decision‑making through data‑driven insights, reporting, and process improvement.

The role will suit someone from a data analytics, consulting, advisory, or commercial analysis background who is comfortable working with stakeholders across multiple functions and translating business questions into clear analysis and recommendations.

The successful candidate will work with internal teams to collect, clean, analyse, and visualise data, helping the business identify trends, improve performance, and support strategic initiatives. This person should be analytically strong, commercially aware, and confident presenting findings to non‑technical stakeholders in a clear and practical way.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Around 4–6 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, consulting, advisory, or a similar analytical role.
• Experience working in a professional services, consulting, financial services, or corporate environment is preferred, and candidates from consulting backgrounds are welcomed.
• Strong skills in SQL and Excel, with experience in Python or R viewed favourably.
