Job summary

MCG Asia seeks a Business Analyst to support decision-making through data-driven insights, reporting, and process improvement. You will gather, clean, and analyse data, build dashboards, and translate business questions into actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.

The role requires 4–6 years in data analytics or consulting, strong SQL and Excel skills, and familiarity with Python or R.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, CS, or related field.
• About 4–6 years in data analytics, BI, or consulting.
• Experience in professional services or corporate environments preferred.
• Strong SQL and Excel; Python or R is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and turn findings into actionable insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support leadership and business teams with ongoing performance tracking.
• Collect, validate, clean, and structure data from multiple sources to improve accuracy and usability.
• Support ad hoc analysis for strategic projects, business planning, client work, and process improvement initiatives.
• Present insights and recommendations clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Contribute to data governance, reporting processes, and analytical best practices across the organisation.
