People Dynamics is seeking a Business Finance Analyst to transform large datasets into actionable financial insights. The role focuses on building queries, models, and dashboards to support strategic decisions in a finance-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in data analysis, Excel (Power Query/Power Pivot), and Power BI, with experience in financial reporting and modelling. This full-time position is based in Doha with a focus on corporate finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years hands-on data analysis experience building queries, models or dashboards.
• Proficiency in Excel with Power Query/Power Pivot and large workbook performance management.
• Experience with Power BI data modelling, DAX measures, reporting and refresh management.

Job description

The Business Finance Analyst role involves working with large datasets to provide actionable financial insights. The position requires a strong technical background in data analysis and financial reporting, focusing on building queries, models, and dashboards to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile analytical output to financial records.
• Work with large datasets (hundreds of thousands of records and above).

Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of job-related experience, in a finance, accounting, economics, data analytics, statistics, engineering or information systems discipline.
• At least 2 of those years in a role with demonstrable hands-on data analysis responsibility — building queries, models or dashboards, not solely consuming them.

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / CPA / CA), or a recognised analytics certification (e.g. Microsoft PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst), is an advantage.

Skills Required:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formula construction and large-workbook performance management.
• Demonstrable working capability in Power Query / M for data extraction, transformation and load across multiple sources.
• Demonstrable working capability in Power BI: data modelling, DAX measures, report design, publishing and refresh management.
